Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Underground Technical Services Superintendent, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:
- Be responsible for the Management and Continuous Improvement of Moolarben’s UG Geology Management Systems.
- Undertake Underground Inspections and Geological Mapping
- Undertake Exploration Planning and Management
- Be responsible for Coal Quality Planning and Reconciliations
- Be responsible for the Underground Geological Budget
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Geology
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in similar role
- Comprehensive knowledge of mining legislation, best practice industry standards and risk management.
- Strong safety focus, high standards and engineering ability.
- Persons that have a practical, team-based background will be highly regarded.
