Job Tasks and Responsibilities

In this exciting period of growth, a number of opportunities exist at Moolarben Coal Operations to join our Underground team as a New To Industy Electrical Trade. Reporting to the Shift Area Leader (Undermanager), your responsibilities will include:

• To supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mine.
• Monitor electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe condition.
• Operate machinery as part of a multi-skilled workforce.

Skills and Experience

• Electrical trade qualification.
• A professional work ethic and the ability to stive for continuous improvement.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience with promoting a positive safety culture within the mine.
• Sound planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
