Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Outbye Services Engineer, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:

 

  • Maintain all mine services inclusive of dewatering, compressed air and water reticulation.
  • Manage surface mechanical infrastructure inclusive of main ventilation fans, pumping assets, compressor systems, bulk stonedust supply system and other minor surface infrastructure.
  • Schedule short to medium term maintenance on these assets.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the mines services strategies are effective and identify areas of improvement.

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

 

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications are preferred.
  • Understanding of mines Outbye engineering systems.
  • Previous Project Management experience including cost and budget management.
  • Demonstrated use of MS Office and excel, SAP or equivalent maintenance software.
