Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Outbye Engineer, the Outbye Electrical Coordinator will effectively manage outbye electrical plant and infrastructure in a safe and efficient manner so the process operates safely and productively to deliver business targets. The duties include, but not limited to:

  • Administration of an effective electrical maintenance system to ensure equipment downtime is minimized.
  • Review of all delays, problem solving and implement solutions to improve availability and performance.
  • Monitor compliance and standards of all outbye electrical equipment and infrastructure.

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

  • Electrical Trade Qualifications, Electrical Engineering qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
  • SAP maintenance and purchasing system experience.
  • High level knowledge of electrical aspects associated with operation, maintenance and overhaul of modern mining equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of PLC control systems and VSD drive technologies.
