Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the HST Superintendent, the role will require you to:
- Provide technical expertise, advice and coaching in all matters relating to health and safety in line with the companies Health and Safety Management System relevant legislation.
- Coordinate site health and safety assurance activities.
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders in health and safety related matters.
- Ensure key elements of the Health and Safety Management System are maintained.
Skills and Experience
Desirable Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in OHS/Training
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
- Experience in return to work coordination.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Previous experience in an HST role within the heavy industry sector.
