The Moolarben Coal Complex is located approximately 40kms north of Mudgee, comprising of Open Cut and Underground mines and a Coal Handling Prep Plant. This is an exciting opportunity is based that the Moolarben Underground site, where you will be able to develop and progress your career within a diverse team of talented, enthusiastic individuals.
 

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Outbye Engineering Team, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:

  • Conduct effective maintenance, defect rectification and fault finding on surface electrical infrastructure and plant.
  • Monitor surface electrical equipment/plant to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe condition. 
  • Contractor management/supervision, planning and organization of materials and equipment. 
  • This is a position for a highly motivated, organized and self-managed person. 

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria: 

  • 3 years’ experience maintaining surface infrastructure typical of heavy industry/industrial plant/surface mine installations.
  • Electrical trade and NSW Supervisors Certificate.
  • Planning, organization and management maintenance activities.
  • High standards or engineering. 

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Qualifications applicable to the relevant area are recognized HV accreditation.
  • Further studies in the electrical field will be highly regarded.
