Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the CHPP Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will be to perform inspections and carry out maintenance and operation duties in the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).
The role will require you to:
- Conduct routine and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Control room operation at the CHPP.
- Inspection and monitoring of coal processing.
- Stockpile dozer operations.
- Train loading.
Skills and Experience
Essential criteria:
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification: fixed or mobile plant.
- Class C drivers licence.
- Proven CHPP or other heavy industry experience.
- Dedicated to maintaining safe work practives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Sound problem-solving and computer skills.
- Ability and desire to work well within a multi-skilled team and autonomously.
