MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

What does your daily life look like at Yancoal?
As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for the provision of accounting services for Yancoal and assist in the implementation and running of the Management Accounting Framework.
Your responsibilities include:
- Prepare monthly Chinese reports including: Monthly PRC Management Reporting Pack, Operation Summary PPT, Quarterly group operation review and plan, PRC pack disclosure schedules.
- Analyse key operational indicators comparing actual to budget, and to PCP, and provide in depth commentary.
- Participate in project-based analysis and coordination of approval process from the major shareholders’ perspectives.
- Translation of documents and reports to mandarin and English.
What do you need to be successful in the position?
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in Accounting or Commerce.
- Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant qualification / CIMA or studying to become a CPA.
Skills & Experience:
- 3 – 5 Years management and/or financial accounting experience.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin is essential.
- Experience in writing corporate financial reports is an advantage.
- 2 Years experience in large enterprises with Chinese background preferred.
