Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the HST&C Manager, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to provide effective system and administration support to the Health, Safety and Training department and site, whilst ensuring personal compliance with Yarrabee’s Safety & Health Management System and the Queensland Coal Mining legislation. You will be our site superuser for Intelex and Pegasus. Ensuring all HST data, documents and records are maintained. Actively responding to HST enquiries to all personnel both over the phone and in person. You will also support our Training Advisors and organise meetings and events.

Skills and Experience

Qualifications

• Generic Surface Induction (Standard 11) (mandatory)
• Current Qld Driver’s licence (mandatory)
• Cert III in Work Health and Safety (desirable)

Experience

• Extensive previous experience in systems administration within a Mining or heavy industry environment
• Demonstrated experience in building relationships with stakeholders and senior personnel

Skills

• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated advanced computer literacy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
