Job Tasks and Responsibilities
The Engineering Tradesperson (Electrical) is an experienced, qualified tradesperson possessing a high degree of proficiency & working knowledge of Yarrabee’s equipment/plant. Is able to operate the plant efficiently, diagnose, faults, service and repair without supervision. in addition provide leadership and coaching to the less experienced members of the Maintenance Team.

Skills and Experience
- Trade qualified in a related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in hazard identification and responsive to safety issues.
- Basic computer skills, word processing and spread sheeting.
- Thorough understanding of individual responsibilities in relation to the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations.
- Previous experience in the electrical repair and maintenance of plant and machinery within a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Current open drivers’ license.
