Warehouse Supervisor

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Based at MTW mine, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the Warehouse team;
  • Role model excellent safety behaviours and drive a robust safety culture in the Warehouse environment;
  • Develop, mentor and support the Warehouse team to achieve objectives and work towards a ‘One Team’ mentality;
  • Ensure effective systems and processes are in place for transport of equipment and resources;
  • Develop, maintain and monitor systems for inventory control and warehousing;
  • Set consistent standards for supply and logistics across the operation.
Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role, preferably heavy industry;
  • A can-do attitude that fosters teamwork using problem solving skills;
  • Demonstrated skills in risk management, hazard identification and a strong commitment to safety performance;
  • Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with other stakeholders in the business;
  • Computer literacy – able to use MS Office suite programs such as Excel, Word and SAP;
  • A can-do attitude with a positive impact on culture.
