Treasury Operation Lead
We are looking for an experienced Treasury Operation Lead to join our Treasury team in Sydney.
This is a treasury back‑office role with a strong focus on liquidity management, banking operations and governance‑ready reporting, operating within a small and highly engaged team.
While the role sits within the back office, it requires strong professional judgement and plays a meaningful role in financing activities, supporting funding execution, bank interactions and liquidity decision‑making.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing
- Provide analysis, judgement and execution support across treasury financing activities, including funding processes, bank coordination and liquidity decision‑making.
- Support short‑term liquidity management by analysing cash flows and contributing to cash planning and deployment decisions.
- Manage and maintain core treasury operational infrastructure, including banking platforms, accounts and documentation, to ensure stability and control.
- Support treasury operations during periods of business change, including post‑acquisition integration, with a focus on continuity and risk management.
- Prepare treasury analysis, reports and materials for senior management and governance forums.
- Operate in a bilingual (English / Chinese) environment, supporting interactions with Chinese financial institutions and shareholders.
Skills and Experience
What we’re looking for
- Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- Solid experience in treasury operations, corporate finance, banking or a related finance role within a complex organisation or group structure.
- Demonstrated exposure to financing activities, including funding processes, facility administration, bank coordination and related analysis.
- Strong understanding of liquidity management, short‑term cash planning and cash deployment decisions.
- Sound commercial and financial judgement, with the ability to provide clear, practical input to treasury and financing decisions.
- Experience preparing analysis and materials for senior management and governance forums.
- Ability to operate effectively in a bilingual (English / Chinese) business environment, including interaction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a small team environment, with a mindset towards continuous improvement.
