Job Tasks and Responsibilities
We are seeking a capable and organized CHPP Administration Assistant to provide part-time support to our Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) team. This is a fixed term opportunity working Thursdays and Fridays for six months.
In this role you will play a key part in supporting the CHPP Manager and wider CHPP team by delivering high quality administrative support that contributes to safe and effective operations.
Key Responsibilites:
- Manage reception duties, including answering phones and greeting visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide general administrative support to the CHPP team, including document preparation, filing, scanning and record management
- Take minutes for meetings and distribute correspondence as required
- Update noticeboards with current and relevant information
- Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required to support CHPP operations
- Enter data and documentation into systems such as Pegasus, CMO and SAP (e.g. incidents, work orders, risk assessments)
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in an administration role, ideally in an operational or industrial environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner
- High level of computer literacy and confidence using multiple systems
- Excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- A current driver’s licence
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in the resources or mining industry
- Relevant administration qualifications
