Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Moolarben Open Cut mine is currently looking for an Administration Assistant - Mining (MPEA) to join the team on Blue Crew.
Reporting to the Dispatch Superintendent, you will play an integral role in supporting the production team. You will be assigned to a production crew and your multi-tasking skills will be put to the test.
In this role, you will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including:
- Assist with monitoring environmental compliance (dust, noise etc.)
- Compile and accurately enter production data obtained during shift (either day or night)
- Manage the administration of manning requirements for the crew
- Production report
- Ad hoc tasks throughout shift
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a relevant administrative position
- Well-developed communication skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- High levels of computer literacy (MS Office) and can quickly adapt to new computer programs & systems
- Exceptional commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Flexibility with work hours and ability to work rosters including rotating and night shifts
