Dynamic role within Yancoal’s shared services team, you will process invoices, bank reconciliations and perform accounts receivable duties

What does your daily life look like at Yancoal?

As a Shared Services Officer you will be responsible for processing invoices, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and payments (internal, external, and joint venture distributions). Additional tasks would include processing of indirect taxes including royalties, payroll taxes, and workers' compensation payments.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Process invoices via Basware.
  • Make payments in CBA/ANZ via SAP.
  • End-of-month reporting
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Process customer receipts.
  • Clear aged items in the GRNI account.
  • Assist with cash/credit card claims via Concur.
  • Capitalisation of Assets.
  • Raise customer invoices and update master data.
  • Assist with queries via the service desk.
  • Assist with Business Activity Statement
  • Cash flows, treasury and Joint ventures.
  • Assist with Fringe Benefits Reporting.
  • Calculate Worker's Compensation premiums.
  • Calculate payroll tax.
  • Calculate government royalties.
  • Other ad hoc duties

What do you need to be successful in the position?

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant field would be preferred.

Skills & Experience:

  • 5 Years accounts experience.
  • Experience with MS Office, SAP, Basware is advantageous
