Contracts Co-Ordinator

This role is responsible for timely and accurate shipping documentation and sales contract administration in a fast-paced collaborative environment at Yancoal.

  • Administration of Commercial Contracts supporting export sales and logistics.
  • 2 years fixed term contract opportunity to work with ASX listed organisation. 
  • Flexible location can be based in Newcastle, Hybrid working available.

What does your daily life look like at Yancoal?

Export Shipping Administrator, Contracts Coordinator, Data-Entry Clerk, Invoicing Extraordinaire… you come by many names but at the core of it, you are simply a doer who values accuracy and has a high attention to detail
 

As a member of the Commercial Team your role will focus on: 

  • Preparation and presentation of commercial invoices and export documentation,
  • Administration of coal sales and letters of credit in accordance with contract terms
  • Stakeholder engagement with customers, banks and vessels agents regarding documentary requirements 
  • Accurate generation of export shipping documentation 

What do you need to be successful in the role?

To be successful in the role you will require the following skills & experience:

  • You are a Sales/ Contracts/ Logistics Administrator, ideally with experience in export of bulk commodities or mining
  • You will have exceptional attention to detail and value accuracy in document preparation 
  • Prior experience in managing letters of credit and export documentation is an advantage.
  • You are a people’s person and able to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • You are very organised and have good time management skills
  • You learn new systems quickly and ideally are already proficient in MS Office applications and SAP
