Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Based at Moolarben Coal Operations, we are offering an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician within the Open Cut Maintenance Department. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Safely performing all Maintenance tasks on our mobile plant such as diagnostic work, Electric/Mechanical drive Truck Maintenance, Field Maintenance on Hydraulic Excavators and general servicing.

Skills and Experience

  • An exceptional commitment to safety
  • Trade qualifications - Mechanical
  • High Risk Work Licenses (FL, WP, CN, DG, etc)
  • Ability and desire to work well within a multi skilled team environment
  • The ability to work rotating rosters including night shift
  • Willingness to reside within 100kms of site.
  • Heavy mobile plant maintenance experience: Komatsu/Liebherr/Caterpillar/Atlas Copco
