We are Australia’s largest pure-play coal producer generating over $10 billion in Foreign Direct Investment; owning, operating or participating in coal mines across NSW, Queensland and Western Australia. 

Managed by Yancoal, Cameby Downs is a small open cut thermal coal mine in the Surat Basin in southern Queensland, between Chinchilla and Miles. We employ approximately 230 people, and aim to support our local communities.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Mining OCE/Supervisor, you will be part of a great team. You will be responsible for the safe and productive operation of mining equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience on Dozers, Excavators or ancillary equipment.

To be successful in the role, you will display the following skills and attributes:

• Experience operating heavy machinery such as Dozers, Excavators, and ancillary equipment.
• A proven track record with regard to safe and productive operating practices
• Ability to meet the requirements of this role with regard to shift work and fitness for work
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Current QLD Driver's Licence
