ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - WAREHOUSE - FIXED TERM

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the Administration Assistant - Warehouse works as part of the warehouse team which is collectively responsible for but not limited to:

  • Efficient and accurate storage, issue and replenishment of inventory
  • Prompt reporting of inventory, paperwork, or transactional discrepancies
  • Liaise with warehouse, regarding the progress of orders, stock receipts, dispatches and general follow up
  • Chase up proof of delivery (POD) and maintain correct record in the system provided.
  • Liaise with other stake holders, regarding time of arrivals, billing enquiries, order progress, stock enquiries etc.
  • Monitoring logistics emails, quotes, phone calls 
  • Assist with shipping and connoting of outwards goods 
  • Assist with raising credits for good returned 
  • Preparation of service kits

Position: 2 Years, Fixed Term Fulltime

Roster: Monday - Friday

About You

To be successful in the role you will also display the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workflow
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced and high- volume environment, managing many competing priorities with a focus on achieving results
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Word
  • Confident to use the site ERP (SAP) for receivables and issues
  • Display professional behaviour incorporating a willingness to assist attitude
  • Current Forklift Licence - or willing to obtain
  • Understanding of commercial principles and procure to pay processes
  • Experienced in all areas of the warehousing function on a mine site or similar
  • Certificate in Warehousing Operations
  • Current Western Australia driver’s licence
