The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Operators to join our team at Yarrabee Mine, located in Blackwater, Queensland.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that values diverse talent, promotes a strong safety culture, and works collaboratively to achieve results. Our crews are made up of supportive, dedicated operators, and we are seeking individuals who will continue to contribute to the positive culture onsite.

We are looking for professional and experienced Haul Truck Operators who can demonstrate proficiency in the safe operation of heavy machinery and equipment, as well as accountability and ownership of their work area.

Roster: 4-panel rotation | 7:7 roster | Rotating Day/Night | 6 x 12.5 hr shifts and 1 x 9 hr shift

Skills and Experience

As an experienced Haul Truck Operator in the Mining Industry you will posses the below attributes: 

•    Previous experience in the operation and upkeep of Haul Trucks within a mining or environment
•    CAT789, CAT793, KOMATSU 830E or HITACHI EH5000 experience highly desirable
•    Thorough understanding of individual responsibilities in relation to the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations
•    Sound communication skills within a mining environment
•    Skilled in hazard identification and responsive to safety issues
•    Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to a company culture
•    Applicable Coal Competencies
•    Current Standard 11 Mine Induction (Surface)
•    Current Queensland Driver's licence
•    Willingness to obtain QLD Coal Board Medical
