Roster: 4 Panels - 7:7, rotating Day/Night shifts - 6x 12.5hr & 1x 9hr permanent

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Yarrabee is seeking enthuastic, experienced Excavator Operators to join the team.

Our crews are made up of supportive, dedicated operators, and we are seeking individuals who will continue to contribute to the positive culture onsite.
The fleet comprises of Liebherr (9600, 9350, 984, 995, 996 & 996B), Hitachi (8000-7 & 5600-7) along with a combination of Komatsu, Caterpillar and Hitachi Haul Trucks.
We are looking for skilled operators who thrive in a fast paced environment that requires you to:
- Liaise with onshift supervisor for delivering production targets
- Conduct thorough pre-starts and identify and report hazards
- Be accountable for compliance to dig plan and profiency model
- Safely operate Excavator/Dozers as you will be working in a team environment operating between primary excavators & floor dozers
Skills and Experience
As an experienced excavator operator in the mining industry you will possess the following:
- Proven work history of operating 400-800t machines
- RII competencies for mining equipment and/or signed skills list by an SSE for Excavator and Dozers
- Current Standard 11 SOA
- Thorough understanding the individual responsibilities in relation to Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively accross all levels within a mining environment.
- Highly skilled in hazard identification and responsive to safety issues/concerns
- Demonstrated team building and leadership qualities
- Currently hold and maintain a current drivers licence
