Yarrabee Coal Company a wholly owned subsidiary of Yancoal Australia, based in Blackwater Queensland, 2 hours drive west of Rockhampton.We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team at Yarrabee Coal Mine(Blackwater) working a 4/3 roster.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Planner you will be required to plan and coordinate short to medium maintenance for a Coal Handling plant with knowledge of heavy and mobile equipment. Key accountabilities of this position include (but not limited to):
- Planning and scheduling short to medium term maintenance and CHPP - coal handling plant operations.
- Initiating and monitoring the purchasing and logistics process to ensure parts, equipment, resources, and tooling are available when required.
- Monitor the CHPP mechanical and electrical operations.
- Development of a budget for all equipment maintenance.
- Develop weekly-agreed maintenance plans using equipment strategies to facilitate maximum production and minimize downtime and costs to meet plant availability and reliability targets.
- Ensuring all Maintenance and Statutory information stored in the CMMS is detailed, accurate and current.
- Timely communication of any foreseeable disruptions to planned events.
- Actively engaging with mining operations team to ensure plans are aligned with production objectives.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for people who have the following attributes, skills and experience:
- Relevant Maintenance Planning Qualifications
- Mechanical or Electrical trade preferable or relevant proven industry experience to the role
- Maintenance management diploma or Mechanical Engineering qualification are advantageous
- Maintenance planning experience with Shutdowns/ Service days in a mobile plantenvironment
- Experience in Maintenance master data SAP or similar highly regarded
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Competent user of MS Project, MS Word and Excel
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills at all levels
- Effective planning and organising skills with the ability to deliver on simultaneous projects with competing priorities.
