Payroll Support Officer - Fixed Term

Location: Black Hill, NSW 2322

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Administer and monitor the Yancoal payroll service desk in accordance with the payroll processes and procedures including, but not limited to:
• Updating payroll master file data.
• Filing of employee records plus all associated payroll processing documentation.
• Data entry of payroll related information as directed.
• Assisting with all month end and year end processes including preparation of Payment Summaries.

Skills and Experience

Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong and proven customer service ethic
• Excellent attention to detail
• Numerical and analytical ability
• Able to work to deadlines
• Demonstrated problem solving skills

• Minimum 12 months payroll experience, both weekly agreement/award based (i.e.shift pay, rosters, allowances) and corporate salaried (i.e. salary packaging, bonus processing, deductions).
• Experience in the use of a service desk preferred.
