Reliability Engineer (12 month fixed term)

Location: Mount Thorley Warkworth, NSW, 2330

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Reliability Coordinator, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:

  • Identify and implement initiatives to improve safety, reliability (MTBF) and availability and reduce costs
  • Optimize equipment maintenance strategies and tactics
  • Collaborate closely with the maintenance and planning teams to implement and generate continuous improvement initiatives
  • Scope, design and implement site engineering projects
  • Conduct failure analysis on downtime and critical component failures
Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a field or mobile mining fleet
  • Site-based experience working directly with maintenance teams
  • Experience in leading and defining maintenance strategies and tactics
  • Experience in leading condition monitoring activities
  • Experienced in life cycle modelling, financial analysis, and financial justification
  • Experienced practitioner in FMECA and RCA
  • Detailed knowledge of CMMS systems, with specific knowledge of SAP
  • Proficient in conducting statistical analysis downtime data and CMMS data
