MTW are seeking an organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join the Maintenance team.

Owned and Operated by Yancoal Australia, Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW) is an open cut mine that provides the opportunity to live and work locally. Located 15 kilometres south-west of Singleton in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, MTW relies on both dragline and load haul systems for their continuous operations. The MTW Mine is the largest open cut operation in the region, employing approximately 1,450 people who reside in the local and surrounding communities.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, this role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the key stakeholders within the Maintenance department. The role will contribute to achieving plan on a page targets and building an inclusive safety culture.
Skills and Experience

To be successful in the role you will also display the following skills and attributes:
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook;
• Demonstrated understand of Mining Maintenance processes and systems;
• Effective time management;
• Ability to work independently, with initiative and flexibility;
• Ability to communicate and liaise effectively across a variety of stakeholders;
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritise and organise effectively;
• Excellent attention to detail and record keeping skills;
• Ability to problem solve effectively;
• Well-developed communication style both verbal and written.
• Certificate IV in Business Administration (desirable)
• SAP experience (desirable)
