Underground Mine Planning Superintendent

Location: Mudgee, NSW 2850

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the UG Technical Services Manager, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:

  • Develop and optimize detailed UG mine plans and schedules for a high production UG Longwall Mine
  • Lead the Mine Planning process for Moolarben UG from Monthly Reforecast through to Life of Mine and Pipeline Projects
  • Develop operational KPIs and lead in the analysis of production data
  • Mentor UG Mining Engineers / Graduate Engineers
Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering
  • 10 Years Underground Coal Mining Engineering experience
  • Underground Coal Mine Planning proficiency – XPac
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and time management skills
  • Statutory qualifications in Underground Coal Mining such as Ventilation Officer, Deputy or Undermanager qualification will be highly regarded.
