CHPP Technician (Electrician)

Location: Mudgee, NSW, 2850

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Moolarben Coal CHPP Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will be to perform inspections and carry out maintenance duties in the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP). The role is on a Monday to Friday day shift roster and will require you to:

  • Inspect and monitor electrical fixed plant
  • Conduct preventative maintenance activities
  • Respond to and assist with breakdowns
  • Service and minor repairs to small mining equipment
Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

  • Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment.
  • Electrical trade qualification and electrical supervisors licence.
  • Proven CHPP or other heavy industry experience.
  • Ability and desire to work well within a multi skilled team.
  • Methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Sound computer literacy.
