We are Australia’s largest pure-play coal producer generating over $10 billion in Foreign Direct Investment; owning, operating or participating in coal mines across NSW, Queensland and Western Australia.
Managed by Yancoal, Cameby Downs is a small open cut thermal coal mine in the Surat Basin in southern Queensland, between Chinchilla and Miles. We employ approximately 230 people, and aim to support our local communities.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Storeperson is responsible for the entire stores management process from goods receipting, storing of stock, issuing stock as well as recording and monitoring stock movement. This role is also responsible to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store area working Monday to Friday.
- Receive goods and process them through SAP
- Load and unload goods from trucks
- Dispatch goods internally and externally
- Operate a forklift
Skills and Experience
- Basic warehousing experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer literacy
- Awareness of risk and ability to see hazards in the working environment
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current manual QLD Drivers Licence
- Forklift ticket
